CRYING WOLF FACEBOOK PAGE

A different way of thinking has emerged in our country and is becoming ever more prominent in our governments and the rest of American culture. This philosophy, known as environmentalism, is now at the forefront of our decision-makers brains and is constantly shaping their thoughts and policies. It was in this mindset that the decision was made by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service to transplant wolves from their homeland in Canada and release them in Yellowstone National Park and central Idaho in 1995 and ’96. The agency, along with many environmental and animal rights groups, praised the decision: it was almost as though they were triumphantly heralding the return of some unjustly banished royalty. But their real triumph was that, by elevating animal over man once again, they were given access to tens of millions of dollars and greater control over both private and public property. You see putting wolves in Yellowstone was never about saving wolves or balancing ecosystems. There was another agenda. One they would not reveal to the American public, but would see through, no matter how far they had to bend the rules, no matter how much they had to steal, no matter how bad they had to lie, no matter the cost. And… they did it. What’s done is done. And nobody has ever looked back since…
…Until now.

Watch Crying Wolf free online now until 9/11/13.

The federal government's Fish and Wildlife agency has proposed to take wolves off of the endangered species list in the northern Rockies. The environmentalists are freaking out. Over 37,000 people have weighed in the public comment period (http://www.regulations.gov/#!docketDetail;D=FWS-HQ-ES-2013-0073) which ends in a couple weeks, the vast majority of the comments being from radical anti-elk, anti-deer, anti-moose, ill informed so-called "environmentalists."

"There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root." - Henry David Thoreau

In the name of the environment, the Green Movement is swinging a dangerous hatchet at liberty, prosperity, and the free world. People everywhere have been programmed to think that the green movement is good for the earth and humanity. This film has an axe to grind with these myths.

The Mission

Axed is a documentary that will tell the truth about the green movement. The film will be built upon one simple, proven historical fact: Liberty works! But, in the name of "being green," our liberties, our private property rights, and our standards of living are constantly being chopped at and splintered away. The truth needs to be told! So we are going to document stories of individual Americans and natural resource based companies who are being sacrificed on a green altar. We also plan to meet with historians and experts on the subject. Here's some of what we have so far:

"The states generally do a good job managing natural resources and making sure the environment is taken care of. But when you get to the federal level, it's no longer the resources that are the priority. There's a bigger agenda: They're trying to completely shut down and eliminate any access and availability to the resources." - Joe runs a coffee shop and has spent his entire life with at least one foot in the logging industry in the State of Washington.

"It makes no sense to require 10-15 years to permit a very simple mining project in the US when a company could go to Mexico or Chile and permit exactly the same project under the exact same regulations in 18-24 months" - Glenn is the president of a small mining company that has been dragged through unrelenting misery for years by federal regulatory agencies.

"We need to decentralize to give the lower and middle classes opportunity, and that will only happen if all the natural resources are managed on the state and local levels...Not just for economic development, but to maintain the right amounts of wilderness and backcountry, because that is one reason why we're here." - Jerry is in the dwindling U.S. timber industry, and he is a big time free market thinker.

"People in Washington DC need to wake up and stop believing the lie, in the same way we once stopped believing the lie of Marxism and socialism and replaced it, we need to stop believing the lie about the green movement." - Geoff is an incredible historian, speaker, and a talented filmmaker.

"The folks who try to stop coal mining and oppose oil and gas development have never spent any time at all without energy. Never. Even when they go camping their tents are made of nylon-- it's all made with chemicals derived from oil and gas." - Mike is an oil and gas expert.
