ANITA MANGELS

About Anita Mangels:

Prior to entering the campaign and public affairs realm, Anita Mangels had her own management consulting practice and worked as the vice president of a multi-million dollar development firm. She quickly established a winning track record in national elective politics and state and local ballot initiatives, prompting her to team up with Woodward & McDowell in 1994. She is now responsible for the firm’s Orange County office.
Ms. Mangels’ specialties currently include crisis management, political strategy, grassroots advocacy, communications, and debate. She has deployed this wide-ranging
expertise in many W&M election and public affairs efforts, most recently including the California Jobs Initiative. Her involvement in Proposition 23 reflects her experience with state’s business and taxpayers communities as she continues to advocate for economic development.

ALL YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PROP 23
  • We do not need a job killing bill like AB32 at this time because in California's financial predicament we simply will not be able to meet its demands.
  • The green jobs being filled today are mostly the government jobs that will keep track of the tax collected.
  • China will profit from California's AB32 and do it by making the green products by manufacturing the products using coal fired power plants.

NOTES FROM KILL CARB Punishment for telling the truth:

Dr. James Enstrom, who was instrumental in uncovering the Hien Tran fraud is still a member of the Faculty at UCLA, however his appointment is scheduled to end June 30, 2011. Dr. Enstrom's whistle blowing embarrassed CARB and he is being punished for telling the truth.  Members of the 'secret' panel that voted to have him fired included Mary Nichols and '60s radical and Chicago Seven Defendant John Froines, who is back as the Chair of the CARB Scientific Review Panel

Tim Donnelly, Dan Logue and Bill Berryhill of the State of California Legislature would be good people to contact to ask (politely) that Dr. Enstrom be given fair treatment with respect to his appeal of the termination of his appointment as a member of the Faculty at UCLA. Please take a moment to make your views known.

CALIFORNIA "WAKE UP"
AND WITH THE FAILURE OF PROP 23, AB32 WINS SO FAR?

MAR 21/ 2011 - HOLD PUT ON AG32, BUT FOR THE WRONG REASONING.
California’s AB32 global warming law put on hold by judge

It’s Illegal to Doubt Global Warming Wednesday, January 12th, 2011

John Seiler: A little-known codicil of AB 32 makes it illegal to question the existence of global warming or AB 32 itself. AB 32 is the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006, signed into law by since-departed Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. So, watch what you say. This YouTube explains it: ...

No joke though, AB32 will cost jobs and likely drive California into poverty.
