Today's  guest: Fred Dastmalchi and Ross Amin

www.oiac.org

We are discussing the Organization of Iranian American Communities today and giving you a look behind the curtain into the real Iran. We think you'll find it interesting to hear from Iranian Americans who have fled repression and are working to help Iran escape the grip of it's current regime.

Mr. Rosoul Aminmansour (Ross Amin) is a graduate of North Texas State University and a resident of Sacramento, CA. He is currently an OIAC board member.

Mr. Rosoul Aminmansour (Ross Amin) is a graduate of North Texas state university and a resident of Sacramento, CA. After the fundamentalist mullahs’ usurping of power in Iran, Ross became increasingly active in the Iranian-American Community projects. He has for over 3 decades been a successful businessman in the United States and prominent Iranian-American Community leader.

Mr. Fred Dastmalchi is a resident of Sacramento and has been a human rights activist for over 30 years. He was arrested once in 1980 in the city of Masad. After that he was forced to leave the country. He increased his human rights activities to be the voice of people in his country. He has been active in his community, mobilizing the Islamic community in Sacramento against Islamic fundamentalist in Iran.

Mission

The Organization of Iranian-American communities-US (OIAC) advocates for a democratic, secular and non-nuclear government in Iran, founded on the respect for human rights, gender equality, religious and ethnic tolerance, as wells as social, economic justice, and security for America. Our goal is to organize Iranian-American communities in the United States to promote these values.

Vision
The Organization of Iranian-American communities-US (OIAC) believes democracy and human rights in Iran are imperative to the national security of America and peace in the Middle East and beyond.

Goals
OIAC-US does not support a foreign war, nor does it support an appeasement policy towards Iran. Our goal is to promote a third option in dealing with the Iran, one which supports the Iranian people’s struggle for democratic change. We hope to serve as a platform and resource for Iranian-Americans working on human rights issues and standing in solidarity with the Iranian people for democratic change in Iran. About Us
Organization of Iranian-American Communities-US (OIAC) is the non-profit and non-partisan organization representing the network of Iranian-American organizations nationwide. While active since 1997, in 2012 Iranian-American communities of 40 different states came together and formed OIAC with a national headquarters based in Washington D.C. As the largest, most organized and enduring grass root of Iranian-Americans, OIAC mobilizes its network to fulfill their civic duty through active engagement in political process and educate local, national policy makers and media on priorities and topics important to the Iranian-American communities.

Fleeing from the barbaric theocracy in their native land, Iranian-Americans have successfully established themselves in the United States, enjoying professional, scientific, and financial prosperity. Iranian-Americans have benefited from long held virtues that have been enablers of their success in America and motivate their continued interest in their homeland’s disposition.

OIAC does not support a foreign war, nor does it support an appeasement policy towards Iran. More specifically, OIAC supports the 10-point plans by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi for a democratic Iran that aligns with security for America and peace in the Middle East and beyond. OIAC works in collaboration with all Iranian-Americans and concerned citizens across the country to achieve its mission and vision.

In seeking an alternative to the religious fascism now engulfing Iran and the region, we back a political/social platform that allows for self-determination through democratic elections by & for the people of Iran.

No version, form, or faction of the current regime represents the Iranian people or their democratic aspirations. The current regime must therefore be replaced in its entirety: by the people of Iran and their organized resistance.

Brief History
Fleeing from the barbaric theocracy in their homeland, Iranian-Americans have successfully established themselves in the United States, enjoying professional, scientific, and financial prosperity. Iranian-Americans have benefited from long held virtues that have been enablers of their success in America and motivate their continued interest in their homeland’s disposition.

Over a hundred years ago, Iranians orchestrated what ultimately developed into a constitutional revolution. The latter provided for the beginning of a democratic framework, more equality for women, and national sovereignty. In 1953, Iranian people again rebelled against foreign intervention and corruption through democratic elections, leadership of former Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh, and a democratically elected parliament. Some 30 years later, with the 1979 revolution, the people of Iran once more rejected dictatorship — this was a democratically inspired revolution that was unfortunately hijacked by the current clerical dictators in Iran.

Embracing and struggling for democracy is therefore a natural phenomenon for all Iranians. Iranian people and Iranian-American alike deeply covet democratic values. We have long supported separation of religion from state; societal choice through democratic elections; respect for human rights; freedom of religion and assembly; and the U.N. charter. Accordingly, activism for freedom and democracy in Iran has been a central component of our community’s life in exile.

I have not verified all of this but if even part of it is true it's no wonder Obama won't release his school transcripts:

You may recall that a few weeks ago, President Obama spoke of three former Presidents making prisoner swaps at the end of wars that took place on their watch, "much like this swap" he said convincingly.

CNN carried this quote, "This is what happens at the end of wars."  President Barack Obama boasted Tuesday when he was asked about swapping American Army Sgt. “Deserter” for five vicious Taliban terrorist.

"That was true for George Washington.  That was true for Abraham Lincoln and that was true for FDR.  That's been true of every combat situation, that at some point, you make sure that you try to get your folks back...and that's the right thing to do."

Really?

That statement blatantly demonstrates that the most powerful man in the World and two term President of the United States lacks even a grade school level of knowledge of American History; specifically, history as it relates to three of our most famous presidents and it demonstrates again that we have essentially elected a foreigner who has no understanding of the very country that he reigns supreme over. Then again, he was educated at an IVY League school so you can't expect too much!!

What's wrong with his statements?

Let's keep it simple-- EVERYTHING is wrong!

1. George Washington did not become president until six years after the Revolutionary War ended in 1783. By 1789 there were no longer any prisoners for him to exchange.

2.     Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in mid-April of 1865.The Civil War ended the following month. He was still dead at that time. No deals were made to exchange prisoners after the war. All prisoners were simply freed.

3.     FDR died of a stroke before the end of WWII. Like Lincoln, he stayed dead after the war so he couldn't do what this jerk says he did. You'll recall that Harry S. Truman made the decision to drop two nuclear bombs on Japan, ending World War II.  He made no deals for prisoners.  We went in and released them when necessary.

4.     None of the Presidents that Obama noted were in office at the ends of those wars, making it impossible for them to make any sort of prisoner swaps, let alone the 5 for 1, plus unspecified cash, for a deserter and traitor by our "57 States" president.

5.     It should be pointed out that countless deserters and traitors were shot or hung during all three of the aforementioned wars.

What amazes one even more than the ignorance of the President is that he has managed to surround himself with a staff that is just as clueless...or willing, as the media are, to cover for his dumb, lying rhetoric and behavior!

P.S. Obama mentioned while being interviewed on Super Bowl Sunday while in the White House kitchen, that George Washington drank beer in the White House when he was president.

George Washington never lived in the White House; it wasn't built yet.

And now you know the rest of the story!
