About our guest Dr. Harry Booyens
Harry Booyens is an internationally recognized, multiple award winning PhD Defense & Aerospace physicist. Originally from South Africa, with a 360-year bloodline in that country, he lives with his family on the forested slopes outside Vancouver, Canada. His life as a scientist exposed him to many of the realities of the Cold War and the period immediately following the Fall of the Berlin Wall. It included interaction with the United States and British defense establishment. He applies his lifetime of research and interpretive skills to History and Genealogy, and writes with factual accuracy and engaging style on these subjects. Hard evidence is a trademark of his work and has won him a number of awards. He focuses on  making Americans aware of what is happening in South Africa, the historic parallels between the two countries, and the warning that South Africa holds for Western Civilization in general and the United States of America in particular.

AmaBhulu - The Birth and Death of the Second America

 
The West has finally realized that “bringing Democracy” to the Middle East and Southwest Asia is not necessarily in the best interests of Western Civilization. Radical Islam is hijacking its plans and making a mockery of Democracy itself.

In South Africa, an earlier experiment in Bestowed Democracyis failing under a burden of abuse. Much taken with its own role in undoing apartheid a full generation earlier, the West prefers to look away. It appears to treat the plight of Western people in that country as a form of required penance. In the process, it indulges what is in effect a corrupt One-Party State Kleptocracy run along the Party Congress lines of its original mentor, the defunct Soviet Union.

AmaBhulu is a view of South Africa through eyes different from those employed in fifty years of media reporting, social science, and politics. The author walks the reader from the 1652 landing of the Dutch to the present by following his own family bloodlines as example through the documented history of the country, supported by copious evidence. As settlers, soldiers, slaves, and indigenes, they farm, they fight, they triumph, and they lose. They are mercilessly impaled and massacred by savage African tyrants. They are hanged and fusilladed by an imperial overlord, and herded into concentration camps. Yet, they persevere to create a key Western Christian country; the envy of all Africa and a Cold War bulwark of the West. Eventually it falls to the author to describe the loss of his country through forces beyond his control.

In 1797 the British Royal Navy feared South Africa would become a “Second America” for Britain, while, in the 20th century, the country was to Africa what the United States was to the world. AmaBhulu describes the developing crisis in the Second America that will inevitably entangle the First America. It is a study in the death of Civilization by its own collective hand; a severe warning for the West.

AmaBhulu – The Birth and Death of the Second America was first published in November 2013 as an e-book, and is now also available in a 630 page B&W printed softcover edition. This work is a comprehensive study of the complete history of South Africa, but with the unique differentiation that it tracks a few real bloodlines through that entire history. AmaBhulu describes how real individuals of European and North American descent experienced that epic history on the ground. The reader is placed among these real people. The author is the first to point out that his family is in this respect “dreadfully typical” and completely representative. AmaBhulu is therefore not a family history, but a History of a Nation by way of a few example bloodlines who happened to have been at the key formative events in that history.
These bloodlines systematically converge and by the 1950s they lead to the author and his wife, proving the author’s natural DNA-based authority in writing on the subject. AmaBhulu thereby also differs from the library of books by British newspapermen talking either about or to Afrikaners who are then treated as “subjects”. AmaBhulu provides more than 1280 notes in evidence and a massive 270 bibliographic entries in support of any points it makes. The evidence is often from 17th-19th century texts, communications, or diaries. In more recent cases, the evidence is provided from British Hansardrecords and recently cleared US State Department documents. The author even provides recent documented supporting evidence from the enemy he was opposing.
Join the author in the epic and painful story of the Afrikaner nation as it evolves at the southern tip of Africa to build the country that became to Africa what America was to the world in the 20th century. In one sense, it is the story of what would have happened to the United States if it had not gained independence in the 18th century.

After almost 30 years of outrage, the US is deepening its voice on South Africa. Big changes in the first few days:
 
ACT 0:
On 27 January ( last week), SA President, Cyril Ramaphosa, a member of the minority Black Venda tribe, signed into law the Expropriation without Compensation (EWC) Act. This allows the seizure of white property without compensation.
 
ACT 1:
On 2 Feb, the Sunday of that week, standing at the foot of the stairs to Air Force 1, Pres. Trump said that “Terrible things are happening in South Africa. They are taking away land; they are confiscating land, and, actually, they are doing things that are, perhaps, far worse than that”. He then threatened to cut off all funding to South Africa and now Marco Rubio has announced he will NOT be attending the G20 Conference in South Africa .
 
ACT 2:
Elon Musk, just before or simultaneously on 2 February, put a post on X in which he directly told Ramaphosa ”Why do you have openly racist ownership laws?”
       It should be noted that, the SA Gvt refuses to give Musk a license to operate Starlink in SA unless he gives 30% of his company in SA to “black-skinned” or “Previously Disadvantaged” people.  The “Previous” refers to “before 1994”… I kid you not. That is covered by the BEE ( Black Economic Empowerment) Act that has tormented white folks since 2002 in SA and destroyed them as regards employment and business ownership. It is an utter racket deserving of the US Dems. That is likely where the Dems learnt their recent trade ( Just google USAID).

Of course, the claim on the Left  now is that Elon is abusing his position in the Trump Administration. I do not know whether Act 2 and Act 1 are connected, but Elon earlier in January clashed with the SA authorities anyway over corporate ownership. Ramaphosa reacted on the same day (2 Feb) on X to that post. The thread has 58.6 Million views!!
 
ACT 3:
On Monday 3 Feb, SA Prez Cyril Ramaphosa phoned Elon Musk’s dad in a restaurant in the resort town of Langebaan, north of Cape Town, and asked him to arrange a call with Elon. This was done. Elon’s Dad says “I have it all  here on my phone”, waving his mobile phone in the air. It would appear that Ram then tried to persuade Elon to intercede with Trump. To the Media it is presented as Ram telling off Elon for spreading “disinformation”. ( Where have you heard THAT before?)
 
ACT 4:
As you can imagine, the Government-controlled media in SA is going wild, and so are lefties all over the world. This Includes France 24, Deutsche Welle, etc etc… even Bloomberg. You can expect an unceasing torrent of that. They remind me of the spittle-splattering old American coot here near our house who attacked me for suggesting Biden was senile. Two weeks later, his own party kicked Biden to the curb.
 
ACT 5:
Meanwhile it has become clear that Trump is considering ex-Breitbart man, Joel Pollak, for the post of SA Ambassador. Joel was born to two Jewish parents in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1977, but he grew up in Chicago. He has been a vocal Trump supporter and great supporter of Israel. He is on record as being STRONGLY opposed to both the BEE Act and the EWC desires of the SA Gvt. He was interviewed on 4 Feb by South Africa’s “White Leftie” News24 in which he made quite a few very direct statements:
    # The world is tired of SA’s focus on redressing the past
    # Trump plans to remake the world
    # SA has NOT escaped his attention and will have to change if it wants US Aid and trade benefits.
    # SA’s set of economic and foreign policies are at odds with Western norms, and he pointed straight at BEE
    # When folks suggested the EWC law has limitations, he cited the example of Zimbabwe where it went nasty very quickly.

LAST NIGHT 6 Feb:
Last night I listened some 2 hours until 1 AM to presumptive  Ambassador Pollak being interviewed by a South African Jewish organization. The message was clear: “The US will not tolerate any more anti-American stances or actions by SA. It can consider its special trade status  (The AGOA favoured trade partner deal) gone. It will stop “playing footsie” with China or else. It will stop constantly irritating the US , or else. And the US now formally opposes BEE and EWC.  He went as far as stating that, if SA rejects all this and wants to go its own way, the US will pilfer all its capable people(!!!) and leave it to rot. I guess one has to appeal to the imagination to interpret what that means, given that even Trump cannot use certain words. Pollak actually mentioned Musk as an example of what South Africans can do if given a chance. All in all, the message is that SA must now get its act together and stop making excuses based on the past. I reckon the entire message can the summed up in a loud “diplomatic” acronymic roar “FA & FO”. All statements were made in diplomatic fashion, but their implications were dire. Pollak reckons even the Dems are fed up with SA, but for its support of Russia.
 
The ANC has proposed renaming Sandton Drive, where the U.S. Consulate is located in Johannesburg, to Leila Khaled Drive after the Palestinian plane hijacker from in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Pollak was asked about  this and he said the US would simply shut down the consulate. Yet again, “FA & FO”.
 
Turns out, Pollak spent some 6 years in SA in the early 2000s and attended the  “Anti Racism” fanfare event in Durban South Africa in , I think, 2002. It features in AmaBhulu. The racist tirades against Jews in that event straightened him out. This was when Gadaffi turned up with an entourage of armoured cars. This was where Pollak finally realised he can no longer be a classic Liberal Jew. He subsequently spent time as a speech writer for DA leader Tony Leon in SA and met his wife there. He also debated Ronnie Kasrils, the white Lithuanian-descended one-time military leader of ANC Military Wing. Pollak now identifies as “A Conservative, possibly Libertarian”.
 
Notes:
 
  • The black beneficiaries of BEE in SA do not have to do anything, require no qualifications, and give a 10% kickback to the governing ANC. This is likely why Trump is saying he will check to see who in the US  has been taking kickbacks from USAID beneficiaries ; the lessons all come from South Africa- the Canary in the Coal Mine as I have been saying for decades now. BEE is the next step up from DEI. You seem to have headed this one off at the pass, thanks to Trump.
 
 
  • On 3 Feb, there was a lot of bluster on SA TV about how SA might retaliate. HOWEVER, on the same day the people running the anti-AIDS efforts in SA phoned up their staff to tell them to stand down and that they could not get paid that month- there’s supposedly no money to pay for the medicine. Yet the country has money to send its soldiers to the Congo where they just screw up and get killed…. and spread AIDS.
 
All of this is very promising. I do not feel quite so alone anymore. And … FINALLY… Americans are getting outraged enough because this mental disease has landed on their shores and is bankrupting them as it has bankrupted South Africa. You do not truly believe the AIDS is being cured, do you? I mean, if they stop the scourge, they would not receive more US money and these “NGOs” would not have salaries:
 
DTM… Do the math! This is exactly what is happening with “homelessness” in California – the top rewarding the bottom to stay there but doing so with money from the middle. In SA it is the Top ANC level paying the ones at the bottom to stay there using taxes from the whites in the middle. It's all just math. Not difficult to understand.
 
When decent Americans find out what has been happening with USAID, they are going to sharpen the pitchforks. As well they should. You heard it here.
