Article four of the
Constitution states: |
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall
be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall
be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the
supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be
bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any state to
the Contrary notwithstanding. |
|
The statement that the
Constitution is the supreme law of the land totally precludes Sharia,
which is the law that flows from Islam, from having any effect at
all in the USA. Many people are waking up to the dangers of Islam;
e.g. Oklahoma has already enacted a ban on Sharia and other states
are in the process of doing the same.

Islam, a belief system we all
need to understand |
Islam
teaches the domination of others: of non-Muslims by Muslims, of
Muslim men over Muslim women, of the true Muslim follower over the
hypocrite or lukewarm or so called moderate Muslim. |
|
A few core teachings of Islam |
Islam
stands on two pillars: the Quran and Mohammed |
|
The
Quran |
The
Qur'an contains the very words from their Allah as
spoken to Mohammed via the angel Gabriel. This is a
basic teaching that cannot be changed by Muslims
because it is the verbatim word of their god, Allah.
|
|
What are
of most concern to me are the teachings of Islam as
they pertain to non-Muslims. So I will here give a
few pointers to this teaching. Bear in mind that
there are two elements to consider: 1. The words
themselves and 2. The apparent meaning of these
words as understood by some, if not most, Muslims.
|
|
In the
limited period of time that we have I will quote
also Al-Qaeda as one particular group of Muslims who
are widely respected and looked up to by millions of
Muslims. They are not just a few old men in a cave
in Pakistan or the Sudan or wherever firing off
emails once and awhile. Their writings are firmly
based on the Quran, the Sunna, the Sira, and the
historic teachings and commentaries of Islamic
Scholars. |
|
Now a few examples from the first Pillar, the Quran |
|
Qur'an 60:4 |
‘There is for you an excellent
example (to follow) in Abraham and those with him, when they
said to their people: "We are clear of you and of whatever
ye worship besides Allah: we have rejected you, and there
has arisen, between us and you,
enmity and hatred for ever,- unless ye believe in
Allah and Him alone" |
Other
translations read: |
e.g. hostility and hate for ever |
e.g. enmity and hatred have appeared between us
and you forever
until you believe in Allah alone… |
|
Al-Qaeda: |
‘So there is
an enmity, evidenced by fierce hostility, and an internal
hate from the heart. And this fierce hostility – that is,
battle – ceases only if the infidel submits to the authority
of Islam, or if his blood is forbidden from being shed [a
dhimmi], or if the Muslims are [at that point in time] weak
and incapable [of spreading Sharia law to the world]. But
if the hate at any time extinguishes from the hearts, this
is great apostasy; the one who does this [i.e. extinguishes
the hate from his heart] will stand excuseless before
Allah.’ |
|
This instruction/verse is a
constant encouragement to Muslims to have a certain mind-set
or attitude toward non-Muslims. Of course, not all Muslims,
fortunately, achieve this state of consciousness, or many
simply reject this teaching altogether. |
|
A dhimmi is a
non-Muslim who lives under the ‘protection’ of the Muslim
authorities. |
|
Qur'an 9:73
|
‘O Prophet! Strive hard
against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm
against them. Their abode is Hell - an evil refuge indeed. |
|
Al-Qaeda:
|
Such, then is
the basis and foundation of the relationship between the
infidel and the Muslim. Battle, animosity, and hatred –
directed from the Muslim to the infidel – is the foundation
of our religion.
And we consider
this a justice and kindness to them.
The West perceives fighting, enmity, and hatred all for the
sake of the religion as unjust, hostile, and evil. But
who’s understanding is right – our notions of justice and
righteousness, or theirs?’ |
|
Just like cattle |
Qur'an 7:179 |
They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes
wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not.
They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are
heedless (of warning). |
|
Al-Qaeda: |
The reason
peaceful and harmonious coexistence is not possible is
because the West, including the United Nations, do not
understand the notions of ‘equality, freedom and justice’ as
revealed by Mohammed. ‘No, they mean the despicable
notions, which we see today in America and Europe, and which
have made the people like cattle. Verily, Allah described
them well [as per Qur'an 7:179] |
|
Al-Qaeda: |
There is no
common ground or shared understandings possible between
those who are Muslims and non-Muslims. True religion does
not ‘honor mankind’…Islam can ‘never possibly honor the
Western man who rejects Allah Almighty. Indeed, He
describes him as a cow; and He has cursed him and prepared
the everlasting Fire for him.’ |
|
Again this reveals an
insulting attitude (to say the least) that Allah has, and
Muslims are encouraged to have, toward non-Muslims. |
|
This attitude has consequences |
Make them feel subdued |
Qur'an 9:29 |
Fight those who
believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that
forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His
Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if
they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the
Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves
subdued. |
|
Some definitions: |
‘His
Messenger’ |
Mohammed |
‘religion
of Truth’ |
Islam |
‘People of
the Book’ |
Jews
and Christians |
‘the Jizya’
|
a
special tax paid my non-Muslims only |
|
|
Non-Muslims are to be
made to feel subdued.
That is the plan and command
of Allah. And of course non-Muslims are to be
brought to this condition by Muslims who are
destined to rule over all non-Muslims. |
|
Al-Qaeda: |
‘…it
is, in fact, part of our religion to impose our
particular beliefs upon others. Whoever doubts
this, let him turn to the deeds of the Companions
when they raided the lands of the Christians and
Omar [the second Caliph] imposed upon them the
conditions of dhimmi[tude]…we are to force
people by the power of the sword to [our] particular
understandings, customs and conditions, all in order
to induce debasement and humility, just like Allah
commanded when he said [read Qur'an 9:29
above]’ [emphasis in original] and; |
|
Al-Qaeda: |
‘Does
Islam, or does it not, force people by the power of
the sword to submit to its authority corporeally if
not spiritually? Yes. There are only three choices
in Islam: either willing submission; or payment of
the Jizya, through physical though not spiritual,
submission to the authority of Islam; or the sword –
for it is not right to let him [an infidel] live.
The matter is summed up for every person alive:
either submit, or live under the [authority] of
Islam, or die.’ |
|
About Apostasy |
Bukhari,
Volume 9, Book 84, Number 57: Narrated 'Ikrima:
|
Some Zanadiqa
(atheists) were brought to 'Ali and he burnt them.
The news of this event, reached Ibn 'Abbas who said,
"If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt
them, as Allah's Apostle forbade it, saying, 'Do not
punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I
would have killed them according to the statement of
Allah's Apostle, 'Whoever changes his Islamic
religion, then kill him.'" |
|
The constant
stories we hear of Christian converts being harassed
and sentenced to death go back to such statements
from Mohammed and his actions. Note here that
atheists do not have the choice that ‘people of the
book’ have to pay the jizya, or special tax. They
only have the choice of conversion or death. |
|
Bukari, Volume 8, Book 82, Number 794: Narrated
Anas: |
Some people from the tribe of 'Ukl came to the
Prophet and embraced Islam. The climate of Medina
did not suit them, so the Prophet ordered them to go
to the (herd of milch) camels of charity and to
drink, their milk and urine (as a medicine). They
did so, and after they had recovered from their
ailment (became healthy) they turned renegades
(reverted from Islam) and killed the shepherd of the
camels and took the camels away. The Prophet sent
(some people) in their pursuit and so they were
(caught and) brought, and the Prophets ordered that
their hands and legs should be cut off and that
their eyes should be branded with heated pieces of
iron, and that their cut hands and legs should not
be cauterized, till they die. [797] (Abu Qilaba
said, "Those were the people who committed theft and
murder and reverted to disbelief after being
believers (Muslims), and fought against Allah and
His Apostle"). |
|
My
comment: Capital punishment for murder is one thing
but torture is another. And clearly the punishment
here was also for apostasy. |
|
Regarding the conditions of being ‘made to feel
subdued’ or Sharia for non-Muslims, I would like to
mention The pact of Umar, who is the second
Rightly-guided
Caliph, of
637 AD. This is an agreement between the subdued
Christians of Syria and the Muslim invaders. |
|
There
is not enough time to go through this important
document but I will mention two conditions. |
|
Christians agreed to
not ‘restore any place of worship that needs
restoration…’ |
And to not
‘teach our children the Qur'an,’ |
|
I have
not spoken much of Mohammed, but I will only say
that according to the Quran and Muslims, Mohammed is
considered the perfect man, an ‘excellent exemplar’,
and ‘an exalted standard of character.’ |
|
Islam and Human
Rights |
Not
only is the Constitution of the United States on a
collusion course with Islam so also is the United
Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights passed
in 1948. The UK and United States are signatories
of this declaration and it should therefore inform
all national legislation. |
|
Article
one: |
All human beings are
born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are
endowed with reason and conscience and should act
towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. |
|
Islam
says ‘that we are not born equal, that we are
slaves, that we must accept the words of the Quran
despite its many logical fallacies and commands
which repudiate natural conscience and that Muslims
are in permanent warfare with disbelievers'. Islam
makes social and political distinctions between
people based on what they profess to believe. |
|
Article 18: |
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought,
conscience and religion; this right includes freedom
to change his religion or belief… |
|
Islam
says: ‘the punishment for apostasy is death.’ |
|
Sharia Law |
Sharia
is the legal system applied by the clergy of the
Islamic faith (‘Imams’, ‘Mullahs’ and Ayatolahs’)
upon Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Its principles
are derived from the teachings of the Quran, which
Muslims are taught to revere as the unalterable
word of God (‘Allah’) as revealed to his
‘Prophet’, Muhammad, through the agency of the
Archangel Gabriel in Arabia some 1400 years ago.
|
|
Its punishments include
barbarities like stoning, beheading and
limb-amputation. It has no place in any society
which is even half-civilised. |
|
Few people realise that Islam
promotes continuous warfare between believers and
non-believers
(‘Warfare is
ordained for you, though it is hateful to you’
Q2:216)
until all opposition to the religion
is crushed under the universal rule of global Sharia
Law
(‘And whoso seeketh as
religion other than the Surrender (to Allah)
[i.e. Islam] it will
not be accepted from him’ Q3.85).
Islam is a totalitarian
political ideology, akin to Fascism. |
|
Qur'an
2:193:
And
fight with them until there is no fitnah
(sedition),
and religion should be only for Allah" |
Some provisions (a very short list!) of Sharia Law: |
1.
|
no change of
religion away from Islam; this is
apostasy |
2.
|
re marriage:
Muslim women can not marry a non-Muslim
but a Muslim man can marry a non-Muslim
woman |
3.
|
a Muslim man
may marry up to 4 woman at any one time
but the Muslim woman has no identical
rights |
4.
|
A Muslim man is
permitted to (so called) ‘marry’ a nine
year old girl |
5.
|
no consumption
of alcohol or pork |
6.
|
homosexuals are
to be executed |
7.
|
no freedom of
speech |
8.
|
death by
stoning of those who commit
adultery
|
9.
|
inheritance
inequality between men and women
(Qur'an
4:11: ‘Allah enjoins you concerning
your children: The male shall have the
equal of the portion of two females;’
) |
|
|
Why the
hatred of Jews? |
It is endemic to the
‘holy’ scriptures of Islam |
|
Qur'an 5:60
|
‘Shall I tell thee of a worse (case) than theirs for
retribution with Allah? (Worse is the case of him)
whom Allah hath cursed, him on whom His wrath hath
fallen and of whose sort Allah hath turned some to
apes and swine, and who serveth idols. Such are in
worse plight and further astray from the plain
road.’ |
|
And One
comment from Mohammed |
Bukhari,
Volume 4, Book 52, Number 177: Narrated Abu
Huraira: |
Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be
established until you fight with the Jews, and the
stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O
Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill
him." |
|
Contemporary example: |
In a weekly
sermon in April 2002,
Al-Azhar
Sheikh Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi, the highest-ranking
cleric in the Sunni Muslim world,
called the Jews "the enemies of Allah, descendants
of apes and pigs." |
|
A response in
UK |
|
The English
Defense League |
These are
patriots, who organize national demonstrations; make
speeches against sharia law, special privileges for
Muslims, and militant Islam; and try to put pressure
on the government to do their job and protect the
law abiding citizens from terrorism and the threat
of terrorism. |
|
I have
helped the EDL with some speeches to help this
resistance. |
|
Thousands
attend demonstrations and are often either ignored
or attacked as racists, bigots, Nazis etc. but
rarely does the opposition deal with the arguments. |
|
The EDL
began in Luton in 2009 and I attended the latest
rally in Luton on 5 February this year. At least
5,000 people attended. The opposition was
effectively silenced by the numbers and arguments
presented. International speakers attended,
including Rabbi Shifren, a Republican candidate for
district 26, from Los Angeles, and Elizabeth
Sabaditsch-Wolff from Austria who was recently
convicted of ‘denigration of religious beliefs of a
legally recognized religion.’ That is she told the
truth about Islam in public. |
|
The
EDL manifesto states the following goals: |
● |
Human rights: protecting
and promoting human rights |
● |
Democracy And The Rule Of
Law: promoting democracy and the rule of
law by opposing sharia |
● |
Public Education: ensuring
that the public get a balanced picture
of islam |
● |
Respecting Tradition:
promoting the traditions and culture of
england while at the same time being
open to embrace the best that other
cultures can offer |
● |
International outlook:
working in solidarity with others around
the world |
|
For their
troubles, the three leaders of the EDL are
threatened with death and live under police
protection. They are Tommy Robinson, Kevin Carol,
Guramit Singh. Kevin recently had to move his
family because of an attack by a man with a
shotgun. The Rabbi Shifren needed police protection
as he walked in the Muslim section of Luton the day
after the demonstration. |
|
One friend of
mine is moving from his house because of not so
subtle threats from his Muslim neighbors. Another
friend wants to speak out more publicly but cannot
do so until he too moves to a new house. His wife
is too nervous about the effect his outspokenness
has had on her and their children. He wrote to me
‘The walls seem to be closing in on me where I live
at the moment and some of the local Muslims are wise
to me.’ |
|
These are
tentative first-step suggestions to the problems
raised above: |

|
The
12-point plan: |
To role back
the intrusion of religion into the secular state, we

|
Stop Police and Fire service exclusion
from privileged districts and buildings
|
3.
|

from public areas |
4.
|
Stop seditious statements by members of
government institutions |
5.
|
Stop hate crimes against Jews, gays and
apostates |
6.
|
Monitor and stop hate speech in all
religious assemblies and publications
|
7.
|
Stop face covering in public
|

|
Stop abuse of women via bigamy, forced
marriage, grooming and under age FGM
|
9.
|
Stop immigration without consultation |
