DR. PHILLIP
DRUM |
Phillip Drum,
Pharm D, grew up in the central San Joaquin
valley of California. Upon receiving his
doctorate from the University of California –
San Francisco School of Pharmacy in 1986 he
performed a hospital pharmacy residency in
Chicago, Illinois. After his residency, he
worked as an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist in
hospitals and later became a Clinical
Coordinator and Manager of Pharmacy Practice in
Hospitals. He has also been a Pharmacology
Instructor, Residency Program Director and
Special Pharmacy Consultant.
Following a family tragedy involving his sister
over 13 years ago, he has been an educator of
marijuana and an advocate for safe roads both
within his state and across the United States.
Dr Drum has performed marijuana driving
research, provided national, state and local
presentations, including training to Drug
Recognition Expert (DRE) law enforcement
officers. Dr Drum was assigned by the California
Governor to a 3 year state Impaired Driving Task
Force, participated in multiple safe driving
bills and was accepted as the only pharmacist to
present to a US Drug Enforcement Agency Hearing
to assess marijuana’s status as a controlled
substance – he is here today to educate you
about marijuana - what the industry does not
want you to know.
